Long, Mid, and Short Term Goals:
Long range goals are five to ten years or more
Mid-range goals are three to five years
Short-term are one year or less.
Characteristics of attainable goals:
Write or think of goals using positive statements
Set Realistic Goals
Make Sure that they are measurable
Set a time frame for achieving your goal
Do not set them too low
Step 1: Reflection
What are your 2-3 biggest challenges to staying on track with your time? Explain.
Step 2: Goal Setting
Then, pick one of those challenges and set a long-term goal to address that challenge. Include two short-term goals that help you reach your long-term goal.
Step 3: Where will you be five years from now? Ten years from now? Write down your long term-goals.
