Title: The impact of organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior: Mediating Role of Job Satisfaction.

Introduction:

The Project introduction summarizes the research question that the researcher is addressing in his/her research (research questions are below). In order words, the introduction should cover the following aspects

o background that outlines a preliminary literature review of the research topic; o The purpose of the research and what does the study intend to do?
o Motivation by highlighting why does the study intend to do that?
o Benefit by showing who or what or how will the study benefit?

So introduction part should include the following headers:

1- Introduction about 3 pageson this part emphasis on the organizational citizenship behavior and how its important to organizations. Then the relation between organizational justices (three dimensions of justice: distributive justice”, “procedural justice”, and “interactional justice) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), the relation between organizational justices in its 3 dimensions with job satisfaction, and the relation between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior, finally how Job Satisfaction will mediate the relation between organizational justices and organizational citizenship behavior relation. The figure below should make it clearer.

2- The significance and importance of the study: (about 1.5 pages)example below, please paraphrase,

contribution of this study
o Add the contribution of this study, as the study will be in the Middle East (mainly in

Qatar). Please mention one of the reasons is that many researches that studied these aspects were conducted in western countries; very few were conducted in Middle East and none in Qatar. For example: This study will contribute to previous researches that studied Organization justice and Organizational citizenship behavior in Qatar. It will aim to identify the relationship between the independent variable “organizational Justice” and the dependent variable “Organizational citizenship behavior” and the role of Job satisfaction as a mediator. Research recommendations based on findings will be provided in an attempt to provide managers with information valuable enough to develop plans to maintain organizational citizenship behavior and inspire employees’ to improve their performance

Subjects of this study
o Subjects of this study would be employees from different levels, junior, middle and

senior business levels. The study will include heterogeneous nature of organizations in

Qatar, which included both private and public, service and manufacturing sectors.

This study can improve academics’ understanding of the influence that organizational justice and job satisfaction might have on employees’ organizational citizenship behaviors in their jobs in the context of Qatar. Study of such relationship should offer managers with information valuable enough to develop plans to maintain organizational citizenship behavior and inspire employees’ to improve their performance.

The aim of this study is to examine the influence of organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior and to clarify the mediating effect of job satisfaction. It would be of benefit for management in the sense that they should not only focus on improving the good perceptions of organizational justice in their employees but make every effort to improve job satisfaction by facilitating all the factors that leads to it to enhance their employees OCB in the organization that in turn effects the organizational performance.

Research questions are the following:

1. Is there any relationship between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior?

2. Does job satisfaction mediate the relationship between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior?

 

3. Do demographic variables affect participant’s responses?

2- Literature Review:

This part should be written in (about 9 pages) A comprehensive review of the relevant literature containing the weaknesses (deficiencies) of existing work related to the research question(s) addressed. In fact, this section should do a thorough search of all the past studies conducted in the line with the research question to be tackled in the Project document. The literature review should be written in a logical format using appropriate language. It includes, but not limited to, an account on how others have addressed this or similar problem(s) and which approach (es) were used
